Question : Cannot Erase Tape - ARCServe

Hi

We use CA ARCServe r12.0 (build 5454), yesterday I reinstalled it as we moved the server it was on onto a new domain.

Everything is fine aside from the fact that I cannot erase a tape.  We use a Dell PV-122T (8 tape loader) - normally when I go to erase a tape it gives you the option of which slot to erase; however no slots appear in the erase box for me to select and hence I cannot erase a tape (see screenshot).

The tape mounts okay, and ARCServe see the tape machine okay, so not sure what could be stopping this (perhaps a bad install).

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Fixed - the manual lock on the tape was slightly moved towards the lock position!
