Question : Unable to issue commands to Tivoli Storage Manager 6.1 Server using the Administration Center Console

Hi,

I'm unable to issue any commands to our new TSM 6.1 Server from the Administration Center. We had problems last week where we where unable to start the TSM Server 1 Instance! However I fixed that problem by clearing out the logs and the Server is now running again.

However when I logged into the ISCadmin/Administration Centre Console I noticed that I was unable to connect to the TSM Server. I'm also unable to remove or add a new Server Connection!

I checked the Windows Event logs but I can't see any error messages relating to this!

seems we're approaching step by step!

The drawback is that you're talking more and more Windows and less TSM, so I'm not sure how far we'll get here.

Anyway, most important question - did you upgrade your AC to Version 6?

It  seems that you already upgraded to ISC Ver. 7 (your use of port 9043 confirms this).
