Booted up the system today and found the following BSOD Windows XP BSOD 0x000000f4 (0x00000003, 0x86e69b50, 0x86e69cc4, 0x805fb146).
How do I resolve this?

At this point, if your atapi.sys file is clean from malware and considering that you also got an ntfs.sys error, together with the noises you are mentioning now... this is pointing to a bad hard drive or serious hard drive error. Backup now!
