Question : How to bypass UAC Pause during remote sessions (Windows 7)

I work for a large company and we're having an issue. We need to find a way to use our machines WITH UAC enabled. I think UAC is crap and counter productive for any IT worker.

When we try to do admin functions on machines while remoted to them, anything requiring UAC will FREEZE the remote session. Are there any registry changes/group policies that can allow me to bypass this freeze? Preferably something that can be pushed out to several people.

Answer : How to bypass UAC Pause during remote sessions (Windows 7)

Try this:

On Windows 7:

Administrative tools->Local Security Policy->Security Settings->Local Policies->Security Options->User Account Control:  Allow UIAccess applications to prompt for elevation without using the secure desktop.  Set to Enabled and then test.
