Question : Task Manager ASP.Net Web Application

I'm looking for a source to manage IT Tasks, projects, assignments, comments, progress, etc.  I woulld like for the application or website to be a colloborative environment that sends out updates to all users selected for updateds.  Does anyone know of some source code that I can download and either user or modify for my needs?? Would preferr if the source was in VB but C# is ok as well.   Thanks.
