Question : How can I retrieve a message I just wrote but hadn't had chance to save?

Hi, I'm using WinXP pro sp3. I've just wrote a long email on a website but when I clicked send I was automatically logged out, maybe because I took so long writing it. Anyway, all has disapeared and I'm wondering if it is possibile to recover what I'd wrote?

Things I tried>>

1) clicking back on the webpage.
2) Checked the clipboard.

I'm thinking that whenever the keyboard is pressed that character is saved at least temporarily saved into the computers memory. I'm hoping that perhaps its still there!

Sorry but almost certainly gone forever.  Not stored on the local machine as you type other than as part of the webpage.  You best bet at the time is go back one page and refresh the screen but even then it would have depended on your webpage settings.

It you're working on a really long post try selecting all the text and using copy to hold it in your clipboard memory "just in case" but even that won't work if you lost power and hadn't actually saved it to a file.
