Question : IE8 Won't Download File

Hello Experts!

Setting up a new PC for a client.  Windows 7 Home Premium.

When I left click to download a file link from a web page, IE does nothing.  Normally, the file DL should start or the "popup bar" on the top of IE would ask me if I want to save the file.  Nothing happens.  Same behavior if I right click...open in new window, or right click open in new tab.  I don't get a download.  If I highlight the link and right click...copy shortcut...and paste it in a new tab...the DL starts as would be expected.

Installed Firefox and the DL starts normally, so I don't think it's a firewall or Kaspersky issue.  Yes... Internet Options\Security\Custom Level\Downloads is set to enable for automatic prompting for file downloads and file download.

Answer : IE8 Won't Download File

Click Groups on the left.  Then under Settings you can edit your Groups quick launch menu.
