Question : Exchange 2007 '452 Too many recipients received this hour'

My email server has been running fine for more then two years and suddenly my exchange server is rejecting emails with the error message '452 Too many recipients received this hour'.

Nothing has changed but here is the flow:
1. My MX records point to McAfee's servers for virus scan
2. McAfee delivers emails to our Cisco IronPort C160 appliance
3. The IronPort appliance delivers the emails, few are accepted many are rejected with said error.

Best I can tell, the problem is because all emails are being delivered from a few IP's (McAfee's) many are being rejected. I need to know how I can increase this limit on the exchange server.

I think you are good to go to delete the admin group and the transport error should be okay.  since that store doesn't really exist anyway you are good.
