Question : Excel 2003 Copying cells from one sheet to another

Hi,
This is a continuation of a problem I had earlier which I thought was resolved but wasn't.
I have attached an application which copies rows from 2 sheets to a third sheet where it sorts them in date order. However, the application only works properly if the 2 sheets have an identical structure. This is because it copies a filtered range from each sheet to the target third sheet.
My problem is that the 2 sheets don't have an identical column structure and I also want the columns in the third sheet to be in a different order than the columns in either of the other two sheets.
I think I should be using a FOR....NEXT loop through the rows to copy only the REQUIRED cells (and not the whole row) to the third sheet. When I try to code this I get a Error 1004 Method 'Range' of object' error whenever i select the cells.
Slowly losing the will to live. I offer 500 points and my wife for a weekend for a solution that works.

I had this problem for months. I tried all the suggestions offered by people online. I did microsoft's troubleshooting list. Nothing worked. Then I stumbled across something on CNET. I used the free-yes -free Hitman Pro 3.5. The 32 bit. It found a rootkit, hidden driver and BAM windows update was back!!! Must reboot first. I found this by searching redirtecting from google not the error code as I had been. I normally don't post on boards but, I know how frustrating this is. It Worked! Try it and good luck!!!
