I built a new windows server 2008 Standard and I would like to transfer my Active Directory from a 2003 Server to the new one which has the same name and will eventually have the same ip address. I also have dns, and exchange server 03 running on the old server and will be installing dns and exchange07 on the new one. I want to start fresh with my exchange db, so that is not needed. The main reason I am transferring the ad over is because I have done it before and just created everything new and i guess the trust relaitionships were gone cuz no one could log into the domain. I dont have a lot of users, but a lot of them are remote over vpn's, so i dont want to go on site or rejoin them all. Is there like an export and import option to do this?
