Question : Cannot print from Sony VAIO to HP C5250

I am able to scan and send test prints to the printer.  I am using Windows 7 and the latest set of drivers from HP.  So basically I can do anything except for print from applications other than HP Solution Center test print and diagnostics.  It appears that info is being sent to the queue because can see it pass thru.  Hooking up another laptop to the printer works fine for printing.  It's almost like the printer is holding the print job in memory and not releasing it.  Any suggestions would be welcomed.

They have been having issues with Windows 7 an HP. Have ou uninstalled the HP drivers and reinstalled with the latest drivers?
