Question : Encryption level (HTTPS) in IE7
I am connecting to t a secure site in IE7. I want to know the bit level I am connecting at. In IE6, you could just hover your mouse over the lock and it would tell you 128k or whatever the connection was. How do you do the same in IE7?
Answer : Encryption level (HTTPS) in IE7
hi! chuckster_eh
, have you tried to Right-Click on the page in question (from within IE7) and Click Properties to view the connection strength ?
It will reveal whether the connection is 128 bit encrypted or not.
hope this helps
