Question : Trouble getting Outlook 2007 to connect to Exchange 2010
I have installed Exchange 2010 on a Server 2008 R2 machine. It is a single server installation with the Mailbox, Client Access, and Hub Tranport roles. I am able to send and receive mail and my certificates all seem to be in order.
OWA works flawlessly on the internet and my intranet. However, I am unable to connect to the Exchange server using Outlook 2007. Everything appears to function as I would expect during account setup. The mail server resolves and my name resolves in Active Directory as well. When I try and open Outlook for this profile it just asks for the username and password and nothing I enter will work. I have tried all combinations domain\username and username and password. OWA works perfectly and I am baffled why I can not get Outlook to work on my intranet.
I have no errors in the event log so I am having diffuclty troubleshooting this problem.
Thank in advance for any suggestions.

I've also read about instances of the MSExchangeRPC service not starting. You might want to check and make sure all your Exchange services have started.
