Question : text or image positioning in HTML table
Hi expers,
I have a very simple table:
<table border="1" width="993" style="border-style: groove; border-width: 2px; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px; padding-top: 2px; padding-bottom: 2px; background-color: #C0C0C0" BACKGROUND="BG3.jpg" align="center">
<tr>
<td height="289" colspan="2" valign="top" ><img border="0" src="0000004.jpg" width="210" height="289"></td>
<td rowspan="2" width="496" valign="top">
long long test here - like 1000 lines of test
</td>
</td>
</tr>
<tr valign="top">
<td width="88" valign="top" >
<p style="padding-left:6pt;">
<a href="ninetysixth.htm" style="padding-left:3pt;">
THIS IS A LINK HERE</a>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
And for some reason,the top left cell height becomes very big, probably as the half of the height of thr long test in the cesond column
Please help!
