Question : sd card error
I recently purchased a new sd card. The built-in reader on my Dell Optiplex 740 gives the following error:
H:/ is not accessible
the request could not be performed because of an i/o error
The built-in reader on my HP laptop reads it fine. The Optiplex can read all the other sd cards I have. The card is 4GB. I suspect it has something to do with the sized of the card or a newer version of some driver or USB version?
Answer : sd card error
That is true. However, it's possible the hardware supports SDHC but BIOS or driver did not at the time. In the link I referenced this was confirmed to be true for the XPS 410, which seems to use the same card reader as the Optiplex 740.
