Question : What is the best database method to use to create a networked workgrouped (not domain based) visual basic program?
I am creating a new program for managing laundry production. I am relatively new to VB programming; just finished year 1 in a 2 year college program. I need to determine what the best method is regarding the creation of the database. Should I create a database in VB or use MS SQL Server? Should I use the free "express" version of MS SQL Server? I do not want to go to a domain based application as I want to be able to implement this within a workgroup setting. If I create a database in VB how is that database shared amongst multiple users within a workgroup? I know that "linked" tables are used in Microsoft Access but I do not know how "linked tables" are established in VB.

You need to create an Internal Relay.
Create a new connector for this and point it to the SMTP address.
