Question : Problem With Excel Hyperlinks

IHi Guys
I am using Excel 2003
I have  workbook with 2 worksheets:
sheet1 is called 'Catalog'
sheet2 is called 'TableOfContents'
This is basically a categorized price catalog

sheet2 (shown below) consists of 2 columns
ColumnA = Category Name
ColumnB= Row number in 'Catalog' (sheet1)

I need to convert all the cells in columnA to hyperlinks so when a user clicks it would bring him to the  category location in 'Catalog'.
When conversion is done columnB is to be deleted.

I have been playing with the hyperlink function for many hours without much luck
Note that this workbook was created using Access 2003 code.

I am really not an Excel expert so if you have a better solution to achieve the same goal. By all means  Mention it;
I am actually designing an order-form that would be sent to customers.
Thank you
Dory

Answer : Problem With Excel Hyperlinks

You mentioned this is being produced from Access. Depending on how exactly that is done, it shouldn't be too hard to have that process build up a hyperlink formula.

In any event, look at Col B of the TOC worksheet attached here. Have your Access routine create that formula and you should be OK.
