Question : Excel Drop Down Lists

I have a template that is to be filled out that i would like to use DropDown Liists in. How can i create a list where the source infomation doesnet show? Can i hide this on another worksheet?

in excel 07 or 2010 go to the data tab then to data validation then hit the first drop down list and choose list, this can be a range of cells, doesnt matter if the cells are on the same page or hidden
