Question : Roaming profile not loading with blank blue Windows XP screen

Hello - am troubleshooting a roaming profile problem on a Windows XP Pro SP3 computer.   The network is an SBS 2003 server / DC with about 30 roaming user profiles setup.  The problematic roaming user profile works fine on all other computers except this one.  I am able to logon to the computer with the roaming profile, however only the Windows XP blue desktop appears and I am unable to see the standard roaming profile desktop icons which appear on all other computers on this network.  I am also unable to save any shortcuts to the desktop with this specific computer.  Thoughts are welcome!

Have you tried to run RSOP.MSC on this computer to see if there is a policy that is failing or taking presedence over other policies? Also, have you tried to delete the cached roaming profile from the documents and settings folder? Also, check the event viewer on this machine as it will provide more detail on an error message that is policy based.
