Question : Roaming home dir conflicting
HI
The following applies to 3 terminal server with MS srv. 2008 SP1 servers in a domain.
User home and desktop is redirected (roamed) using GPO. Everything has been working correctly.
Recently I changed the location of the users romed home directory i the GPO with the result that the terminal servers now believes that the home location is both at the old and the new location. I have used gpupdate and rebooted the servers several times.
This is the logged error:
Failed to apply policy and redirect folder "RoamingAppData" to "
\\DBA\home$\eha
\AppData
\Roaming".
Redirection options=1001. (this is the new address)
The following error occurred: "Failed to build the list of regular subfolders under "
\\fil1\tshome$\eha
\AppD
ata\Roamin
g"".
Error details: "Access is denied.
I have double checked that the GPO is correct.
How do I force the servers to get the correct location of the user home?
TIA
Eiliv
