Question : Windows xp All Network Adapters wont start code 39

I have a laptop that was infect with spy ware that has since been cleaned. Now ALL of the network apadters wont start and have an 39 error code. I have tried to reinstall the drivers they seem fine too. Something is missing to get them to work. ALL adapters have a yellow (!) on them. I did a sfc /scannow with no avail I also replaced a missing ndsis? file and appropriate registry key. No avail

You added the following file c:\windows\system32\drivers\ndis.sys did a reboot and still no luck? Did you reinstall the drivers before or after copying over a new ndis.sys?  

Are you sure that ALL malware and/or viruses are cleaned from the system? What tools are you using to scan for these?

What OS are you running and where did you get the replacement ndis.sys file?
