Question : Air & flash sharing the same shared object

I need  to access the same shared object in Flash Player and AIR.

I have a website with a flash app that stores data is the local computer via shared object.

I also have a desktop version of the same app using Adobe Air, which needs access to the same data.

how can this be done ?
