I will need something like an oval rectangular box with two generic colors as borders.

This has to be done using CSS and html tags.

I will need to put some text or images inside the box.

Kindly help me.

Just cut the image into 6 parts, see attached.
that is , the 4 corners , 1 horizontal and 1 vertical flow.
use div to create the blocks..with backgrounds of the image.
