Question : Best connectivity over the pond!
Hi All,
I have just had my MPLS plans go up in smoke due to financial constraints in the business. I still have though operational issues that need to be addressed with our US office. Originally we were looking at implementing a MPLS across our sites in the US and Far East. I now have to focus just on the US leg.
What I'm after is some ideas from you guys for the best way forward. I have an office at the moment with 5-10 employees in the US. Its key part of the business and we need to make sure it’s running effectively. All our key systems are based in the UK and at present the US get all their email from the UK with RPC over HTTPS and access files and systems over Citrix. There is a single DSL connection in the US office.
These guys need access to our network and also need remote access into their office in the US. The current setup is slow and poor for us to support without that network between us.
I'm assuming a Internet based site to site VPN will be cheapest and best way forward for the link to the UK with again a cheap VPN solution over there DSL to gain remote access but just wanting to understand what is out there at the moment that we can exploit
Thanks in advance
