Question : Saving PPT in Microsoft office but cannot open them in Open Office

Hello -

I use openoffice on 2 of my laptops but microsoft office suite on my office computer. One of the issues i have ran into was building presentations (powerpoints). I build them for the work seminars on my personal laptop (Open Office), save them as a .ppt but they will not upload into my business system, so I have to send them to my office, open them with Microsoft, and save in .ppt format again before they will successfully upload to my business portal properly.

Any ideas why?

My feeling is that it depends on the versions of MS Office & OpenOffice you are using. Perhaps they are not quite compatible.

Also, I don`t really understand exactly what you mean by `will not upload into my business system`.
