Question : how to connect to wifi thru windows 7
Hello,
I have a fairly new HP laptop with am internal wireless adapter. I don't know much about Windows 7 but the laptop will not "see" any wireless networks in my area including my own. The wireless adapter is on because the blue light on the keyboard indicates it is active.
Also, in device manager, the system states the wireless adapter is functioning properly so why can't I detect any wireless networks. My other laptop sees all the networks in my neighborhood.
thank you
jack

Make sure its not set to show or hide any networks, sometimes they can be set to hide unprotected networks or hide protected networks. Also check its enabled in any software that came with the device.
