Question : Access sharepoint site from client machine? (And Dynamics CRM for that matter)
I'm setting up a lab environment, working on getting familiar with sharepoint and Dynamics CRM, and eventually integrating the two.
I have Sharepoint 2007 installed on a Server 2008 DC named "sharepoint". I can access Sharepoint from this server at
http://sharepoint:41304
.
I have Dynamics CRM installed on a Windows Server 2008 Member Server named "dynamics". I can access Dynamics CRM at
http://dynamics:5555
Both machines are virtual machines inside my windows 7 host machine. The host is a member of the domain.
I cannot access Sharepoint, or Dynamics from any machines other than the ones they are installed upon.
Suggestions, please.
Thanks.

First thought is to check that the firewall is allowing these ports through - I would turn off the firewall temporarily to test this out...(sorry if this is too obvious)
Hope this helps
