Question : work group
i have windows 7 as a client pc apart of a home work group. I also have a window 2003 server with AD domain. windows 7 pc isn't apart of the domain. Today i noticed that in Network I saw the windows domain server listed in the same area a my work group computers. i even accessed the server with the admin password. My question is this: is it normal for the server to show up in the work group area of network even though it is a domain server.
Answer : work group
Yes,
It is common to see other devices on other workgroups and domains.
But you will need a username and password in order to connect to them.
