Question : Macbook air connects to skype, but not on the internet

Hello everyone,

I have a macbook air 13' that is a bit funny. It does connect wirelessly to the router, gets an IP, connects fine.

But then, I can use skype to call, no problem, but I can't get browsing the internet, nor download my emails.

Can anyone help please ?

Answer : Macbook air connects to skype, but not on the internet

looks like a DNS issue.
go to System Preferences and Network. Go to the active connection Airport/Ethernet. Click Advanced and then go to DNS tab. delete the DNS entries if any and use open DNS : click + to add and add 208.67.220.220 and then click + to add 208.67.222.222.


save the settings. Should work

post again if it don't.
