Question : Windows Server 2008 R2 Foundation vs Standard

I have a client that is upgrading a server from Windows 2000 server to 2008. After getting a lot of information that solidified my stance on being able to go with 2008 R2 Standard with a server downgrade option, I now find out that there is a 2008 R2 Foundation version that is a few hundred $$ less.

My question is, can a small company with 2008 R2 Foundation with a downgrade option (the server is a 32-bit) be able to take care of all the tasks of a small business. I am iffy about using this version as I this is the first time I have heard of it.

What can't it do that the Standard version can?

thanks!

Answer : Windows Server 2008 R2 Foundation vs Standard

Foundation has a limit of 15 users.  And it's only available via OEM.  And the current version is 64 bit only.
