Question : upgrade filemaker files from fp5 to fp7
I am having a problem upgrading FileMaker fp5 files to fp7. Some text fields are loosing data. What am I doing wrong?
The text fields that are having a problem with have over 50 lines of text with only 3 words per line. I am loosing text from the top of the field when they are being converted to fp7 format.
Answer : upgrade filemaker files from fp5 to fp7
The best thing to do is export your data to an excel file (or some other file format that is compatible with your fp7 version of Filemaker. After conversion, import the text into your newly converted file.
