Question : USB Mouse won't work

Experts -

I am currently working on a pc that the cd drive wouldn't show up. I used the fix to delete the upper and lower filters, rebooted, and that did the trick. Upton reboot my usb mouse was not detected. Thinking it was a fluke, i just restarted. Same problem. USB keyboard works but not mouse. I restored my registry backup, and still no avail. There are no PS2 ports on this puppy, and i'm really at a loss of what to do, i do not want to reformat for its not my pc. I've tried different ports, and mice. When i plug them in in windows, i get the message stating that the device was successfully installed. Device manager shows no errors. I would like to uninstall the usb drivers in the device manager, but i do not know how to with only a keyboard. Any ideas?

Answer : USB Mouse won't work

I would recomend that you uninstall the USB hub and reinstall it. You can use the keyboard and just use tab to cycle the devicemanager then use the equliviant of the right mouse button, the key usually looks like a box with a mouse beside it, to select uninstall.
