Question : Avaya 5610SW IP Phone Rebooting Randomly
My coworker has an Avaya 5610SW IP phone which has been working fine for months. Beginning yesterday, it has started to randomly reboot itself (disconnecting any call in progress).
When it boots up it says Initializing and Loading. Then it says that it's downloading an SCR upgrade file (xxupgrade.scr), but then gets an error message (TFTP error: Unknown error). Sometimes it finishes booting properly and it can be used to make calls, but only for a short while before it reboots itself.
I tried plugging it into a different Ethernet wall jack, but getting same results. Is there a way to troubleshoot this further?
