Question : exchange logs using 45GB of diskspace

Hi all
I have a windows server 2003
I am running this as an exchange server

This server is running very low on disk space
I have freed up disk space but after a day the space was used up agan

I had a look at all the files and folders on the server and found that in my MDBdata folder I have
The public and privet stores and 45GB of logs

The logs are named   E00B2f4.log, E00B2f5.log and so on
There is 9800 of this logs

There is a new log created every 2 or 3 minuets

When I open this logs with notepad there is just Hexadecimal characters

 So my questions are

1.      What are this logs
2.      Is it ok to delete this logs
3.      How do I stop this logs from filling up my server

Thanks for any help

Robbie

Answer : exchange logs using 45GB of diskspace

The logs are the transactions occurring on your server which are then committed to the database. You should not manually delete these files. A full backup of your information store will automatically purge these files. When was the last time a backup was taken?
