Question : Hyper V Networking Problem
Hi All,
Ive used virtual server 2005 for a while now and never had any problems with networking,
but we've jus rented a new off site dedicated server with the intention of running virtual servers within it
ive installed hyper v and created 2 servers but i cant get them to see the outside world
when we got the server it had 6 ip addresses bound to its network adapter so i stripped 4 ( for use by virtual machines) and left the other two bound to the adapter
ive set up one of the ip addresses on the virtual server with the correct gateway and subnet mask, but no matter what i try i cannot see the outside world
is this the correct way to do this?
Answer : Hyper V Networking Problem
The networking is set of external on the virtual NIC properties for each VM ? ( just checking as ive seen it missed before).
