I have googled around and want to make sure I am going down the right path. Whereas we wold normally use a startup vbscript to do this with 2008 i am not sure.
What we need to setup is a number of different shares and connect to these on logon, however different users will require access to one or more of the shares.
e.g. take user1, user2, user3 and share1, share2, share3
user1 may need access to share1,share2,
user2 may need access to share1, share3
user3 may need access to share1, share2, share3
what we were thinking is setting up a GPO for each of the shares and attached to the each user that needs it?
Is this the right way to go about this?
Finally, can someone give details on how to create this policy?
