Question : canon DR 3060C II scanner won't connect to usb port. Defualts to scsi

XP sp3 installed latest driver and capture perfect software. open capture perfect it says no scanner attached, close the software and get error no scsi cable attached. It should connect using usb not scsi. When i try using microsoft scanning get error qd1.dll missing.
