Question : Does Installing Dell OMSA on a Linux server require a reboot?
I would like to install Dell OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA) for Linux on a server that is running Red Hat and is being used in a live environment. Rebooting the server is do-able, but will cause major headaches and require a lot of work before and after. Installing OMSA on a Windows server does not require a reboot. I have tried to find out if this is the same for Linux. Even the Dell person I was speaking to was non-commital. So, can OMSA be installed on a Linux server without causing any outage?

It is easier to install, it has been tested many times and you can easily get updates.
