Question : In workbench: manage connection error to local socket/pipe

in workbench trying to connect "local socket/pipe"
but I keep getting error "Can't open named pipe to host" ?

I plan on using mysql the same as access with no remote connection.

on which platform you run it?
did you checked that path to local socket the same in mysqld and in workbench config?
