Question : VOIP Solution for Home Phone

I am looking for a VOIP solution for my home phone. I am currently signed up with Comcast voice (paying 20 bucks for unlimited calls in US for 6 month promo)and want to be able to port my number. Any suggestions on carrier or device (universal to any carrier) that I can plug in from my router?

Answer : VOIP Solution for Home Phone

OOMA for sure. Plug it into your router, port your existing number over, no monthly fees at all, unlimited calling in the US, free second line with the OOMA scout. Magic Jack only works with your computer on and is very limiting. None of those limits with OOMA. You can get another line with ANY area code so if you want someone to call you for free, get a number that is free for their location. I have two of them plugged into my router for my business. Never had a problem and calls are clear. Get it at Costco, com and get some perks with the package.
