Question : Student Profiles

Hi,
We are currently logging students onto the school network without using profiles. At the moment we are finding a few problems with this method such as long login speeds. What would be the best way to go about setting up a profile for each student that would help speed up login times without using roaming profiles?

The OS is XP and AD is running under Windows Server 2008.

Beware it's over 200 pages long!  It might be worth downloading to keep for future reference if you have a number of these printers.
