Question : SharePoint File Folder Actions

Hi,

We are having the following issue. In a SharePoint site you should be able to use file & folder actions. When you hover a file or folder with your mouse, an arrow shows up with a dropdown menu where you select from different actions e.g. rename ; delete ; connect to outlook and much more.  We have sites where this works fine see "With Action Menu" but now I have one where this doesn't work ("No Action Menu") ; and I don't know the solution. Can anyone help me please. I have attached images so you can see the difference.

Some details:

Both servers are running SBS 2008. I did the test on Internet Explorere on both sharepoint sites.

You probably chose the wrong field for the view.
When you configure the view (view menu, Modify this view), you will see a list of fields that can be added. You certainly have Name in it, but instead you should use Name (linked to item) or similar.
