Question : OneNote 2010 default search using last scope
Seriously...did Microsoft change *every* default behavior between Office 2007 and 2010 just to mess with people!?!?!
Onenote 2010 - click search. It *always* searches ALL OPEN notebooks, despite the fact that my last search was narrowed to the current section or section group.
Any way to change this ridiculously stupid default?
And to Microsoft: WHY?!?!?!
Answer : OneNote 2010 default search using last scope
You can change the scope of the search. Click in the search bar and a dialogue window will open. At the top is a link to change the scope. You can change back to what you had / want, but they did make All Notebooks the default.
