Question : Roaming Profiles Best Practices
All,
Currently I am running roaming profiles for our terminal server users only. I am doing application and my documents redirection which leaves the roaming profiles at about 2-5mb each. It is taking about 45 seconds to login to the terminal servers. It does not seem to be specific to domain users or domain admins. If I do a break down it appears that it is getting stuck at Loading Your Personal Settings.
We have a Server 2003 environment and this issue even occurs after hours when there is nominal network utilization. This is driving me nuts and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Answer : Roaming Profiles Best Practices
1. change your select statement, this is really vunerable for sql injection.
2. You can make a TemplateField instead of a BoundField. From there you can use <%# Eval("name of your datafield") %> in order to get the information you need.
