Question : Inkjet printer recommendation for the home wanted

I'd like to purchase a printer for the home.  Low volume printing requirement.  I need color and nice resolution for photograph printing.
Is it possible to get a printer that uses cheap ink?  Is this even possible?
I'd like to spend less than $100.  If you have a really spectacular model and it costs a bit more than that, feel free to make the recommendation!  if it's that good, I spring for the extra money.

What email client are you using?  If you can view the raw headers, they will show you a path that the message took starting from the senders PC.
