Question : Adding host to ESX farm

Easy question hopefully...

We have 2 ESX hosts in a farm and they are version 3.5 update 4 (build 153875).  We are going to add 2 more servers to the farm but we installed them with update 5 (build 207095).  Can these be added to the farm or do the other 2 hosts need to be upgraded first?
