Question : Is JScript the same as JavaScript?

Just wondering is JScript is a nickname or a distinct program from Microsoft?

Please tell me how that works. And what the major differences might be a JScript...

Answer : Is JScript the same as JavaScript?

JScript and Javascript are mostly the same, JavaScript was developed by Netscape, JScript by Microsoft. Just about anything you code in Javascript will probably work in JScript, but not vice versa.
