Question : Cisco 2503 Router - Terminal Problems

Hello everyone!

Im having problems running commands in my enablemode on this router:
1:
2:
3:
4:
Router#configure terminal

Enter configuration commands, one per line.
Edit with DELETE, CTRL/W, and CTRL/U; end with CTRL/Z

When I follow it by not using more then one per line it all works like this:
1:
2:
3:
4:
Router#configure
Configuring from terminal, memory, or network [terminal]? terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line.
Edit with DELETE, CTRL/W, and CTRL/U; end with CTRL/Z

What option is it that does this? can I disable it? or do I have to work around it?

Im running HypTerm on XPP. Thanks in advance!

Answer : Cisco 2503 Router - Terminal Problems

version 9.14 of the IOS is absolutely obsolete (it was already in decline when I started working on cisco devices, 15 years ago). anyway, the current configuration can be displayed with

write terminal

and the startup config can be loaded with
config mem
write terminal

Try to use  hyperterminal with flowcontrol "hardware or "CTS/RTS"
