Question : Is my hardware 64-bit capable
I have a server that is about 3 years old and has SBS 2003 (32-bit) on it. I would like to put SBS 2008 on it, so I have installed and ran CPU_Z (see attachment) and I believe it is 64-bit capable since it shows the EM64T instruction set.
However, I've also read that the registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWA
RE\DESCRIP
TION\Syste
m\CentralP
rocessor\0
' can be checked. The key contains:
Identifier "x86 Family 15 Model 6 Stepping 4"
ProcessorNameString "Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.00GHz"
which makes me think it's not 64-bit capable (x86).
Why does there appear to be a conflict? I hope those that are familiar with this CPU can confirm if it is 64-bit capable.

Answer : Is my hardware 64-bit capable
EM64T support is the defining aspect of a 64-bit cpu. There's also this article that says the Dempsey Xeon DP 5050 was 64-bit:
