Question : Set up Blackberry to work with OWA
Hi Experts,
I have just installed a SBS 2008 server for a customer and trying to get his blackberry to get his mail. I have gone on the Verizon web site to set up his account. I put in the user name and password a select Microsoft® Exchange (using Microsoft ® Outlook® Web Access) option and click next. I get an error:
Cannot connect to e-mail server or bad server name".
I can get to OWA from the outside by using "
https://
<ip address>/owa/" the only problem is that I get a certificate error. I am using a self signed one. Can I use a self signed one when using the Verizon web sight?
Thank you,
John

You can get a certificate from Go Daddy for about £10. Have you considered installing BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express? It is free. I'm using it myself and it works great.
